Zdeno Chara went to the locker room after suffering an apparent injury when blocking a shot off the stick of Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho in Game 1 of the Conference Finals last Thursday.
The shot hit right off the outside of his right foot and he was clearly in pain on the bench.

Chara was back on the bench to start the second period.
It is unclear if what is keeping him out of Game 4 is related to this, but according to multiple reports he was on the ice for morning skate on Thursday.
This is the first playoff game he has missed since April 16, 2011, according to Hockey Night in Canada.
