More changes could be coming to Carolina.
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, who cited multiple league sources, Panthers owner David Tepper has grown “increasingly frustrated” with the team’s most recent performances and is “mulling major changes” if his squad doesn’t turn their season around.
The report noted a loss at Tampa Bay on Sunday would “only hasten the momentum” after the Panthers lost three straight games to the Steelers, Lions and Seahawks in November.
Even if Carolina is defeated by the Buccaneers, the Panthers could still capture a playoff spot. However, the team would face an uphill battle given their tough schedule in which they face three NFC South foes in their final four games.
The Panthers are slated to visit Cleveland in Week 14 action before hosting back-to-back games and ending the season Dec. 30 at New Orleans.
